Location
The village center of ▶ Platanias is about 5 kms East of the city of ▶ Rethymnon.
In the village there are tavernas, supermarkets, car and motorbike rentals, bistros, discotheques, exchange offices, and ATM machines.
During the season at daytime every 30 minutes public bus service to Rethymnon and hourly busses to Iraklion (80 kms) and ▶ Hania (64 kms). The nearest bus stop 50 meters is from the house.
